We went and had a visit with Sadie’s brother, Marco, two weeks ago. As you can see, I need to figure out my camera settings. The pups move constantly and I got a lot of butt shots! Sadie was tuckered out by the time we got home. 🙂
The beer is chilling, the dip is ready and our squares are bought… Super Bowl Sunday is going to be great!
I’m really excited to hangout with Marcus and have some good laughs over the new commercials!
I’m feeling lucky, too! The idea of winning money will get me to watch and cheer for 2 teams I really don’t care about the rest of the year! 🙂
But, the best part of Super Bowl Sunday…PUPPY BOWL VII!
Starting at 3pm on the Animal Planet channel.
Puppy Bowl 1 aired the first winter we had Daisy. They had a springer spaniel puppy in the lineup and curiosity caused us to watch for a while. We noticed Daisy watching, too. It was a riot to watch Daisy watching the puppies play. We’ve watched Puppy Bowl ever since.
Let’s be honest, unless it’s at the end of a quarter or a commercial, the football is actually boring! Flip the channel and have a feel good moment!
The 20-pup starting lineup was assembled from shelters and rescues across the country.
According to Animal Planet, there will be the addition of chicken cheerleaders on the sidelines and a new “puppy-cam” that will let fans experience the field from a puppy’s perspective.
And, for my kitten lovin friends…the Bissell Kitty Half-Time Show will be back with a kitty-inspired acoustic solo performance that promises to dazzle canine and feline fans alike.
I’m rooting for Brownie Sundae to win MVP…Most Valuable Puppy! She’s a spaniel mix and clearly a Wolverine fan at heart!
